Parker and I are SO indebted to our parents. Their generosity to us goes beyond measure. They helped us out at a time when we had nowhere else to go. Espeically after the past year, when we were living with them. So we will do anything to help THEM with whatever we can. Well, my parents were painting their house this weekend, and we agreed to come up to Boise and give them some help.

The first picture is when we finished covering the windows and porch with paper and tape. And the second picture is after we finished painting the front of the house. We started with rollers and brushes. I was working on that window under the porch. When my dad got the Wagner power-painter working, he painted the rest of the house around me in the time it took to finish the one window! Those things are AWESOME! Nobody should ever paint their house without one of these things. The time saved is WAY worth the price.

Caleb wanted to help paint, so I gave him a small bucket with a sponge brush and we let him paint a piece of plywood on the ground that dad had been using to defer rain run-off from the gutter-less roof. He thought it was pretty fun.
And the last video is what happened 5 minutes after we finished painting the side of the house. RAIN! Surprisingly, the paint didn't really run all that much. It'll take a little touch-up work, but not much.
