Every winter our driveway does this....
It starts when it snows. Then it melts. Then the moisture goes into the ground. Then it freezes again and expands. And then up goes the driveway. It's about 2 inches high right now.
Then as the ground moves up....this happens.....
The siding that trimms the garage door starts to wrinkle and bend. It feels like there's stairs into the garage.
I'm sure the genius who built this house was supposed to do something in order for this to not happen.....but.....obviously they didn't. Pretty lame huh?

Oh my gosh Heather, did you know Dad's driveway does the exact same thing??? He was just pointing that out to me the other day.
